If you're in need of high-quality, dedicated and caring kennel free daycare and boarding for your furry family members then Calm and Balanced Canine Centre is your answer.  We provide a safe, calm and caring environment to reduce the amount of stress for you and your dog while you're away.  At Calm and Balanced Canine Centre your dog will enjoy fun days of romping around with friends.

In order to stay or play (daycare or boarding) with us, and keep a safe and healthy environment for all, all dogs must meet the following criteria:

Must have updated Vaccines: Rabies and Distemper.
Must be on a tick/flea prevention medication.
Must be spayed or neutered 8 months and under.  Exceptions are made on a case by case basis.
Must come for a consultation to zone their behaviour.

Before you arrive for your dog's first day of daycare fun or boarding, remember to email, fax or drop off your dog's vaccination records.  It is our policy that all new clients must provide and ensure that we receive vaccination records and forms prior to their dogs first day/night at the Centre.  Kindly remember to sign all forms prior to sending.

"We don't just board your dog, we take care of your dog"

Kennel Free Environment

We offer a pack environment, to encourage socialization and interaction.  Your dog isn't confined to a kennel, instead they get access to different areas of our Centre.  All services are included in the price*, offering you an all-inclusive service.  We do have some crates and segregation areas if your dog prefers to have their own area, or are unable to sleep freely.

24/7 On-site Supervision

Our Centre has a fully trained staff member on-site 24/7 to ensure your family member is receiving the proper care and give you a peace of mind while you're away.

Our Boarding dogs follow the same routine as those for Daycare.  A few extra activities, such as an evening walk, extra structured play time, and more exercise on the treadmill.

Ready For Your Boarding Stay

Overnight Items: Although we provide cots and dog beds, it is sometimes helpful for some dogs to have with them some items that remind them of home.  Please feel free to pack your dog's bed, blanket, or favourite toy.  We want your family member to have what they need to be as comfortable as possible during their stay.  also, a t-shirt or sock that smells like home could be helpful to your furry friend.  Please make sure to label your dog's items with his name and family last name.

Food: It is best to keep your dog on their own food so their tummies don't get upset during their stay.  Pleas feel bring your dog's regular food in pre-portioned amounts for each meal.  You may also bring food in a large container with instructions of how to feed at each meal.  We do have house food for any dogs that do well on various brands if their food runs out.  No dog will go hungry!

Breakfast is 9:00A.M. - 10:00A.M. after the morning walks.
Lunch is 12:00P.M. - 1:00P.M.
Dinner is 5:00P.M. - 6:00P.M. after the evening walks.

Bowls:  We provide all meals with high quality stainless steel bowls that are cleaned after each use.  Unless your dog uses a special bowl like a slow feeder, please leave bowls at home as your dog won't be needing them during their stay with us.
